Starlit Forge is Starlit Forge LLC, a single-member limited liability company registered in Texas. Our mailing address: Mailing address to come. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Starlit Forge LLC, and “you” means the person using the site or placing the order.

By using the design assistant or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our refund policy and our privacy policy.

You need to be 18 or older to order, or have a parent or guardian order for you.

The design assistant is an AI. It can make mistakes, including in lettering, so check your design in the preview before you order. What you approve is what we engrave.

The first 3 revisions of each design are free. After that, one $5 deposit covers any further revisions of that design; it comes off your order and isn’t refunded if you don’t order.

Don’t use the site to break the law, to get around the revision limit (for example with automated requests), or to interfere with how it works. We can stop anyone who does from designing.

Our default answer is yes. We won’t make anything illegal, or anything our image service or payment provider doesn’t allow. See what we’ll engrave.

When you order, you confirm that you have the right to use any names, logos, trademarks, artwork or likenesses of real people in your design. When you add a photo or logo in the designer, you confirm that you have the right to use it, and the permission of anyone in it. If someone makes a claim against us because of a design you gave us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

We can turn down any design or order. If you’ve paid, we refund it in full.

You keep any rights you have in what you give us, like your words, ideas, photos and logos. We don’t claim ownership of the designs you make with the assistant, and we give you any rights we have in them.

Designs made with AI may not be protected by copyright, and the assistant may make similar designs for other people, so we can’t promise yours is one of a kind.

You let us store and use your designs to make, ship and support your order, and to keep a record of it. We show a design on our site only if you check the box for it when you order, and never with your name or address. To take that back, email us and we’ll remove it.

We don’t use your designs or chats to train AI models.

Prices are in US dollars. The total you see on Stripe’s checkout, with shipping and any sales tax, is what you pay, and you pay it when you place the order. Stripe handles your card; we never see the full number.

Bulk discounts depend on the total number of pieces in the order. Orders over 50 pieces are quoted by hand, and the quote’s terms apply.

If we show a price that’s clearly wrong by mistake, we tell you before engraving starts, and you can pay the right price or cancel for a full refund.

Every piece is engraved to order. The ship date you see before paying is an estimate, worked out from the laser queue plus a day to pack. If it moves, we email you, and you can cancel for a full refund.

We ship to all 50 states and Washington, DC, with tracking. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, our refund policy covers it.

Brass is a natural metal. It darkens with time and handling, the color of each blank varies a little, and hand-applied finishes vary too. The 3D preview shows the shapes and depths we engrave at true size; color and shine on screen are an approximation.

Brass is mostly copper and zinc. It can leave a mark on skin and may irritate sensitive skin; take it off if it does.

Our pieces aren’t toys and aren’t made for children 12 or under. Keep pendants, chains and cords away from young children: they’re a choking and strangling hazard.

Our refund policy is part of these terms. In short: you can change or cancel for a full refund until engraving starts. After that, custom pieces are final, but we remake or refund anything that arrives damaged, flawed or not at all.

We stand behind our work as the refund policy describes. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we provide the site and the pieces as they are, without other promises.

As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility for an order is limited to what you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that can’t be waived.

We may update these terms. We post the new version here with a new date. The terms you agreed to when you placed an order apply to that order.
